UNH Business School Interns Available

Looking for a highly motivated business student intern this fall?

Starting in early September, the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (WSBE) at the University of New Hampshire will be teaching an Entrepreneurship Internship course. The course, now in its 7th year, will place business students from WSBE in entrepreneurial ventures at various stages of business development and with firms that service the entrepreneurial sector. The students are all business majors in their senior year with an interest in working with start up and high growth ventures. They are interested in gaining experience in a variety of areas, including marketing, sales, finance, human resources, and management. The students have significant business education and look forward to the exposure and experience of working with interesting and exciting companies and the close contact with business professionals at these organizations.

Professor Jeffrey Sohl will supervise the students and work closely with you and the students to ensure a good fit and good experience. The students are required to work approximately 8-10 hours per week (for 13 weeks) with the companies as part of the course requirement.

The fee for companies to participate in the program will range from $500 to $750 per student intern based on the number of employees in the company and the distance from Durham. This fee helps offset some of the students' travel expenses and administrative costs associated with the program.

If you are interested in participating in our 2006 Internship Program please contact Laura Hill at 603.862.3341 or laura.hill@unh.edu for more details.

We hope that you will join us in supporting the Whittemore School of Business and Economics and the Entrepreneurship Intern Program.
